<\/a>Dies ist die Geschichte des kleinen Ayman aus dem Sudan.<\/p>\nMittlerweile ist Ayman 3 1\/2<\/span> Jahre alt und lebt mit seinen Eltern und drei Geschwistern im Aussenbezirk der nordsudanesischen Hauptstadt Khartoum. Als er 2 Jahre alt war, wurde bei ihm bei einer Untersuchung in einer HNO Klinik in Khartoum beidseitige Taubheit diagnostiziert, ein Schicksal, das er mit vielen Kinder auch im Sudan teilte.<\/p>\n F\u00fcr jede Familie ist solch eine Diagnose ein schwerer Schlag, der noch schwerer wiegt, wenn einem die M\u00f6glichkeiten, Abhilfe zu schaffen, weitestgehend genommen sind, nicht nur wegen der fehlenden Infrastruktur im eigenen Land, sondern besonders wegen der fehlenden finanziellen Ressourcen. Die Empfehlung und der Wunsch, Ayman mit einem H\u00f6rimplantat zu versorgen, erschienen unerf\u00fcllbar zu bleiben.<\/p>\n Aber Ayman hatte Gl\u00fcck.<\/p>\n Nach langer Suche, eine M\u00f6glichkeit f\u00fcr eine derartige Versorgung zu finden, mit vielen Kontakten zu zahlreichen Firmen im Sudan, in Europa und Asien, an die Ayman’s Diagnosebericht geschickt wurde, stie\u00df sein Vater auf der Internetplattform Facebook auf unsere Stiftung, die Prof. Ernst Lehnhardt Stiftung. Er nahm Kontakt auf zu Frau Dr. Lehnhardt, die sich ohne Z\u00f6gern zur Hilfe bereit erkl\u00e4rte.<\/p>\n Denn wir machen keinen Unterschied bei Wohnort, Nationalit\u00e4t, religi\u00f6ser Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit oder Hautfarbe. Bei uns steht das Schicksal des Kindes im Mittelpunkt.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Also lief nach unserer Zusage wieder einmal die ‘Hilfsmaschinerie’ an, die sich im Wesentlichen auf die Organisation der erforderlichen Operation und Rehabilitation, das Bereitstellen der ben\u00f6tigten finanziellen Mittel f\u00fcr alle damit verbundenen Kosten einschlie\u00dflich f\u00fcr ein geeignetes H\u00f6rimplantat, der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Posten im engbegrenzten Budget, konzentriert, sowie auf die Betreuung der Eltern vor der Operation und w\u00e4hrend der Therapiephase danach.<\/p>\n Dank der gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigen finanziellen Unterst\u00fctzung durch die Hilfsorganisation «Ein Herz f\u00fcr Kinder» konnte ein Cochlea Implantat System der Firma Cochlear gekauft und damit der Hauptanteil der Kosten abgedeckt werden.<\/p>\n Schwieriger gestaltete sich jedoch die Organisation der erforderlichen Operation. Da es keine geeignete Chirurgen im Sudan f\u00fcr einen derartigen Eingriff gibt, mu\u00dften wir nach M\u00f6glichkeiten in anderen L\u00e4ndern suchen, vorzugsweise in Nachbarstaaten.<\/p>\n Der Kontakt zu einem HNO Chirurgen in den VAE , der zu der Zeit zwischen Krankenh\u00e4usern in Dubai, Katar und Jordanien pendelte und sich bereit erkl\u00e4rte , kostenlos zu operieren, erwies sich nach anf\u00e4nglicher Euphorie als zu kompliziert. Die Koordinierung zwischen seiner Verf\u00fcgbarkeit, den Reisem\u00f6glichkeiten von Ayman und seinen Eltern, dazu die Einschr\u00e4nkungen bei der Bereitstellung von Visa f\u00fcr die Familie, belastete die Vorbereitungen sehr stark und gef\u00e4hrdete einen zeitnahen Operationstermin.<\/p>\n Schlie\u00dflich mu\u00dfte diese L\u00f6sung abgebrochen werden, um nicht noch mehr Zeit zu verlieren.<\/p>\n Aber Ayman hatte Gl\u00fcck.<\/p>\n Der Kontakt zu Dr. Mondy Hammad aus Dubai, der durch die Mitwirkung des dortigen B\u00fcros der Firma Cochlear zustande kam, erwies sich als Gl\u00fcckstreffer.<\/p>\n Dr. Hammad, ein Spezialist f\u00fcr derartige Eingriffe, erkl\u00e4rte sich nicht nur sofort bereit, die Operation kostenfrei durchzuf\u00fchren, sondern konnte sogar anbieten, sie im Rahmen eines Gasttermines im Al Doha Hospital in Khartoum vorzunehmen, wo er f\u00fcr 4 Tage eine Reihe von Operationen innerhalb des folgenden Monats geplant hatte.<\/p>\n Dieser gl\u00fcckliche Umstand ersparte der Familie den Stress einer anstrengenden Reise und eines zweiw\u00f6chigen Aufenthaltes in einem anderen Land. Dar\u00fcber hinaus wurde das Budget weiter entlastet.<\/p>\n Seither ist der Heilungsprozess der Operationswunde weit fortgeschritten.
