From April 4 to 6, two significant events took place in Istanbul, T\u00fcrkiye: the International Pediatric Audiology Congress<\/strong> titled \u201cBridging Gaps in Pediatric Audiology\u201d<\/strong>, and the 15th EURO-CIU International Symposium<\/strong> under the theme \u201cPast, Present, and Future: The Journey of Hearing with Cochlear Implants.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conferences featured inspiring talks on topics such as medicine, audiology, and rehabilitation \u2014 even familiar subjects like architecture were explored from a fresh perspective in an inclusive setting. The Lehnhardt Foundation was proud to present its GIZ project \u2014 a professional training course for therapists<\/strong> working with children with cochlear implants.<\/p>\n

A special highlight was the opportunity to exchange insights with EURO-CIU members, CIICA Coordinator Sue Archbold (UK), therapist and AB representative Nicole da Rocha (UK), and AVT therapist Eulalia Pastor (Spain).<\/p>\n

On April 4, the EURO-CIU <\/a><\/strong>Annual General Assembly was also held, during which the new President and First Vice President were elected. Tobias Fischer<\/strong> from Austria was elected President, and Aylin \u00d6zg\u00fcr from T\u00fcrkiye was elected First Vice President.<\/p>\n
